Just recently I was contacted by a lovely lady looking for bridal feather fans for her Gatsby style wedding.

I had never done anything like this before and was a little apprehensive at first, knowing that her wedding was something very special and I didn’t want to let her down. She showed me pictures of the style she was after and we worked closely together to achieve her vision.

After sending ideas and pictures back and forth, we came up with a design she was very happy with. I started to make the bridal feather bouquets and decided to make some boutonnieres to go with the bouquets.

This was a great learning experience for me. I enjoyed working with my lovely bride that I have decided that I would make these bridal bouquets and boutonnieres part of the product range.

The bridal feather bouquets are made with a combination of ostrich, goose and peacock feather. I used a beautiful diamante brooch to add the sparkle.

With diamantes and pearls on the handle and a dangling crystal bead adding that extra detail, each fan has been backed with matching fabric and the edges with a beautiful braid.
